WASHINGTON, D.C. –  The RATE Coalition, whose members and affiliates employ more than 55 million American workers in all 50 states, released the following statement following President Donald Trump’s meeting with Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD), House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO), Sen. Mike Crapo (R-ID), Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett on tax reform:

“We are encouraged by President Trump’s and Congressional leaders’ commitment to continue progress toward protecting America’s competitive tax rate.”
