Washington, D.C. — The RATE Coalition today released the following statement on the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ March 2019 jobs report:

“After years of asking, ‘Where are the jobs?,’ American workers finally have the answer. March’s strong jobs report shows the power pro-growth tax reform has to unleash job creation, wage growth, and new investments across the country. Just look at the numbers: 196,000 jobs were created in March, more than three million new jobs have been created since tax reform was signed into law, jobless claims are at a 49-year low, and the economy grew by 3.1 percent last year. There’s more progress to be made, and maintaining globally competitive rates for U.S. job creators and workers will be key to enabling all Americans to reach their full economic potential.”
